FD Fire Door holds third-party fire door inspection certification from Bluesky Certification, a UKAS-accredited body (FDIN-051). Our certified, experienced inspectors combine site findings with supporting-evidence review and clear reporting, helping clients prioritise defects, further investigation and proportionate remedial action.

FD Fire Door is a full member of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI). Our membership reflects a commitment to its Code of Professional Conduct, technical standards and continuing professional development, giving clients access to informed advice on door hardware, specifications and changing industry requirements.
REGISTERED ARCHITECTURAL IRONMONGERS
Our Registered Architectural Ironmongers include Brian Ferguson (RegAI R1273) and Matthew Pentland (RegAI R1378). Their GAI Registered Professional status and continuing professional development underpin expertise in door and hardware design, technical specifications and schedules for fire performance, accessibility, security and durability.

SAFECONTRACTOR APPROVED
SafeContractor approval independently assesses our health and safety documentation against the scheme's assessment standards. Our current approval covers passive fire protection and inspection and testing. For clients, this supports supplier due diligence and confidence in how we plan and manage safe site attendance.
CYBER ESSENTIALS CERTIFIED
Cyber Essentials certification assesses five baseline cyber security controls: firewalls, secure configuration, security updates, user access control and malware protection. It supports responsible handling of client information and helps reduce exposure to common online threats within the systems covered by our certification.
